Thanks to all of you whose parents attended the meeting tonight.  Some very interesting conversations.  Parents were very interested in the use of the blogs and keen to see them continued for the rest of the course - something that Mr.Wallbank and myself are keen to do.

The great barr media channel is now up and active on you tube with an initial selection of videos from the past few years.  I intend to upload more over the coming weeks and for next term to upload some of the work that current students are working on.  There will be  strict 'quality control' on these as the channel will be the showcase for the work of yourselves, past students and future students.

You can access the channel by navigating to you tube and then searching for 'great barr media'.  Mr.Wallbank intends to have a link directly from the blog to the channel operating soon.

I have added links to the AS Media Home page and the AS Media Foundation pages. These were created some years ago [2008!!!]. We now intend to re-activate these as part of a re-build of the access to lesson notes and material to assist you with your work in AS Media Studies.
We appear to making good progress with students signing up for their blogger accounts. As soon as you are signed up we can begin to add you to the list so that other students may access your blog and post comments on your work.

Welcome

This is the new blog for AS media studies film project. The 21st Century has arrived!
